Leadership should be evaluated in terms of the:
Performance of the team. 💯
Far too often leaders get training on self-awareness but:
-You can have all the self-awareness you want
-You can have all the training about it
-You can make great progress
Still, what about training on how to build teams?
I believe leaders should get training on both.
When all said and done:
Leaders need MORE than self-awareness.
Here is what they actually need:
1. Leaders need insight into their team’s health
2. Leaders need to know if they’re good at building teams or not
3. Leaders need to implement tools designed for teams not self-awareness.
